As a child, maybe you played this game. I loved it! I found the thrill exhilarating–to either be the one hiding and seeing how good I was at out smarting the seeker, or in the role of the seeker, testing out the quality of my detective skills. I enjoyed both roles, and as a child it was all good. But, with age, I realized that I carried into adulthood this “game,” which instead of being fun and stimulating, was emotionally deadly, and spiritually damaging and debilitating. Learn to come out, come out wherever you are, and be the original one of a kind woman that you are. Wisdom says hide no more from the real you…all of you…warts and beauty, strengths and weaknesses and seek to know, embrace and accept your truest self. Don’t waste your time hiding from the one person who you need the most–you. Report for active duty and live your life. This is freedom and power! “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I behaved like a child. When I became an adult, I let go of, put away, left behind my childish ways.” I Corinthians 13:11
