It was in the middle of the night; I needed something downstairs and didn’t want to disturb anyone, so I took the narrow and dangerously curved back stairwell to my final destination, the family room to get what I needed. As I was going down the stairs in the dark, I heard my own words of caution regarding this dangerous path, “Turn On The Light.” It seemed so simplistic and yet I knew then, and shared with my radio audience the next day, the free gift of living life in the light…the physical light when confronted with dark paths and the emotional light of the truth which is always an available ally if we let the light shine. Wherever and whenever you are trying to find your way in a dark season or place in your life, remember the priceless gift of wisdom… to turn on the light! I’ll leave the light on for you, please leave it on for me!
