City living can take a lot out of us. We can get caught up with the fast pace and daily grind. It’s hard to go against the grain at times. When I get overwhelmed what gives me hope is to connecting with Mother Nature. It’s just what I need to give me hope to continue striving towards my goals! My favorite Mother Nature pick me up is the beach. I have wonderful memories of family trips to the beach. I try to celebrate as many of my birthdays at the beach as well. There’s something about the sound of the waves, the way the sky and water connect in the horizon, the feel of the sand in my toes it’s grounding and completely magical. I cannot always get away but this picture helps give me the hope I need until I can get to the beach.
