Santi White, better known by her stage name Santigold (formerly Santogold), is an American producer, singer/songwriter whose first album “Santogold” was released in 2008.

On March 14th at 9:00pm, MTV will air “Summit on the Summit”, featuring, Santigold, actress Jessica Biel and more as they climb Africa’s highest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise awareness of the global clean water crisis.

More than one million people do not have access to clean, safe drinking water, and Santigold and her famous friends are hoping that their “Summit on the Summit” will open people’s eyes to the massive implications of the lack of access. Supporters can track the celebrity climbers on the Summit’s website, and sponsor a foot of the 19,340-foot trek.
