When Keyshia was first getting started in the business, we got help from Kanye West and his crew. Kanye produced a track for Keyshia’s first single. He saw my visions for her and also jumped on the track as a side artist. This was rare for an established artist to do this for a newcomer. Kanye even went as far as appearing in the video. This was huge for us! I respect when an artist, manager or producer go above and beyond to help a new artist grow. Kanye also put Keyshia on her first arena tour when he was just a supporting act for Usher in 2006. He believed in her and I appreciated the help!

    I truly believe in my heart according to what my grandfather instilled in me, hard work everyday produces excellent results, no matter what the circumstances, and also learning something new everyday, produces excellent results, you must be ready to work hard, play hard, and be willing to give back immediately, even when you can’t see the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, because it’s not what you do for yourself that is the reward, its what you do for others that is the greatest reward.
