I am a Mother first….first before anything. Being a Mother keeps me grounded
in this crazy business. Being a Mother is the best part of me!!
I have been a Mom now for 15 years and I know what unconditional love means.
Being a parent, a mother is a beautiful thing. At times you look at your child with that” Oh no you didn’t look”. Then you think back to all of the things your parents, grandparents, etc. said. “When you have your child; you will know.” Nine months to grow. A lifetime to share. You learn from your child just as your child learns from you. There will be days when the mountain is a hard climb. The little pebbles building the foundation is now the mountain. Never forget where you came from, who got you there, and where you can be tomorrow. It’s not perfect or easy nothing ever is. I can honestly say I would not trade the time I have spent being a mother of a now 18 yr .old ( * I still look good:) and a 13 yr. old for anything. Every stretch mark, wrinkle, grey hair. Earned. My husband and I can now sit back and watch our daughter’s blossom into intelligent, self-efficient, young women.
